How counseling can help
Teens open up when they don't feel judged. We start by simply getting to know each other, no scripts, no lecture. From there we build practical, age-appropriate tools for managing worry, anger, and stress, drawing on approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) chosen to fit each young person.
Parents are part of the picture too. For clients under 18, a parent or guardian is involved in scheduling and consent, and I'll help you understand how to support your teen while still giving them a confidential space of their own.
What to expect
The first step is a relaxed conversation to see if it's a good fit. Sessions run by appointment, including some evenings, in person in downtown Waco or online by video and phone across Texas. Most major insurance is accepted through Headway.
